Jordin Sparks has a lot to smile about at the moment.
Her first major movie Sparkle was just released in the U.S, and since winning American Idol in 2007 she has dropped a whopping 50lbs.
The singer and actress is also celebrating her one year anniversary with her boyfriend, singer and songwriter Jason Derulo.

And the pair have celebrated the milestone with a blissful sun-soaked vacation in the Bahamas.
The lovebirds, both aged 22, were spotted today relaxing on the white sandy beach and luxury pool at the Cove at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, where they met and fell in love one year earlier.
Jordin showed off her newly toned beach body and various tattoos in a skimpy patterned strapless bikini while her beau flaunted his muscular physique in swim-shorts.

The couple enjoyed the lazy river at the resort as well as the turquoise ocean.

The two fitness fanatics were spotted engaging in some very open public displays of affection in the resort's pool and Jordin was also seen teaching Jason swim moves before cuddling and splashing around.

Since her rise to fame on American Idol in 2007, Jordin has dropped 50lbs after an ongoing battle with her weight.
And today she was clearly keen to show it off as she frolicked in her bikini.
In a recent interview, Jordin admitted that the road to her new figure was not an easy process.

The singer told Redbook magazine that there was no magic way to losing the pounds.
'My whole journey has been about self-acceptance,' she said.
'There’s no quick or magical way to lose weight. You just have to do it the natural way— diet and exercise and stick to it— and be able to do it at your own pace. Everyone has their own thing.'

She said: 'I knew I had a long road ahead of me. I was barely working out, and my diet was a mess. I had to address when, what, and how much I was eating.'
Sparks revealed that she decided to change her eating and exercise pattern when she realised she should be making the most of herself now that she's at her prime in her twenties.

She added; 'I just wanted to be healthy. I remember thinking, ‘I’m in my prime. I should be happy and fit.’ That was the moment I decided that changes needed to be made.'
Jordin last month attended the premiere of her new movie Sparkle, which also stars the late Whitney Houston.
